A balanced and complex aroma, with a slight citrus undertone. It has been said that adding a small amount of Ravensara lends intelligence to a blend, acting like a sort of director for the other oils and enhancing the terrain in application. Nerve tonic, used against herpes virus.

Organically grown in Madagascar
Often confused with Ravintsara, especially since they originate in the same area. Ravensara is more complex with less cineol (eucalyptus-like) content.
